If you were a manufacturer creating a new product, what would be your greatest sign of success?
How about selling the product before it’s even available to see and touch?
Well that’s exactly what our client, Agrowplow, has done, selling nine units of their new seed drill before their build was even complete!
Agrowplow produces innovative soil care farm equipment, supplying seed drills, deep tillage ploughs and flexi-rollers for sustainable agriculture.
You might not know much about farming, but equipment like this reduces damage to soils and improves the productivity of crops, meaning a more sustainable future for our land and better returns for our farmers.
Although it was founded in 1977, Agrowplow was purchased by Davimac in 2013, to revitalise and set a new trajectory for the brand, focused on its hallmarks of quality, reliability and simplicity.
This year, they released a much-anticipated new machine: the AD230 Agrowdrill. Equipment like this is not exactly an annual purchase for primary producers, but a large investment that will carry them through for a number of years. So selling nine units before production was complete is a huge achievement for Agrowplow.
SO HOW DID THEY DO IT?
It all comes down to one thing: Relationships!
This success is a testament to their strong relationships with their Dealers, with which they were able to drum up interest and sales before they’d taken their first promotional photo.
The Agrowplow team are very serious about maintaining relationships with their clients. During the development stages of the AD230, the team considered all feedback from farmers as key.
We might not be grain or dairy farmers, but I think everyone can appreciate the high quality, innovative technology that Agrowplow highlights through their blog, website and of course, YouTube.
